If
you're interested in having your web site's link placed in our
link directory then please email us with the following information
:-
1)
Your web site's title
2) Your web site's description
3) Your URL address
4) The category you would like to be placed in (please refer
to our links page for this)
We
will visit your site for relevancy to your chosen category and
let you know when we have approved your link.
You
must also link to our site and we'll need to know where we can
find this link. Please give us the URL of your links page.
Some of the biggest search engines in the world take into account
link quality and link relevancy when ranking sites within their
database.
It's
for this reason that we will only consider linking to sites
that have a similar theme to our own site. This can help both
sites to gain a higher rank in the search engines.
Although
we have quite an extensive range of banner links for you to
use, recent studies have shown that the click through rate from
banners is shamefully low.
Most
people see banners as just plain advertising and immediately
switch off when they see them. They're excellent for branding
purposes but not much good when it comes to visitor response.
For that reason we'd much prefer a text link from your site
to ours as these are much more likely to be clicked on.
You
can of course use whichever linking methods you personally prefer.
But we must point out that we do not accept banner advertising
in our own links directory.

our listings are text based.

can link to any page of our site, although we'd suggest that

Here's
how to set up a banner link to our site |
1. Create an image folder on your hard drive if you haven't
already got one.
2. Right click with your mouse on the banner you want to use.
3. From the menu that appears click on 'Save Picture As' or
'Save File As'.
4. When the next dialogue box appears locate your image folder.
5. Give the image a name and then click 'Save'.
6. Insert the image into your website and then link it to one
of our pages.
